Te Arai Links, by House of Nautica
Set in an exceptional coastal position, this expansive five-bedroom home enjoys sweeping views across the fairways to the ocean and Te Arai Point/Forestry surf break. Designed on a single level, every room opens directly to outdoor living spaces.
An elegant H-shaped layout maximises the home’s ocean frontage while creating sheltered courtyard gardens. All living areas and bedrooms share the outlook, including a primary suite in a premier eastern position and a separate guest master suite for added privacy.
The form of the building uses the classic coastal shed form of a low-pitched metal gabled roof, allowing the building to sit quietly within the natural landscape. Floor to ceiling glass maximises the views, while sliding timber shutters enable variable light, breeze and privacy to each of the bedrooms. Materials combine sand toned plaster with grey oiled cedar creating a timeless, relaxed coastal feel both inside and outside the home.
